| Sailors, family and friends
patiently await the meeting of their loved ones. After this much waiting,
last minute anxieties subsided with the ship nearing the pier - smiles
and laughs are became predominant in the crowd. More parents than typical
at a homecoming were here! (It may have been the 9 month separation.) The
Navy Band stood by and struk up a homecoming tune as soon as the USS
SHILOH CG-67 moored. Meanwhile Port Operations (unnoticed by most)
continue their routine work.
